Track.1:
Sitting Bull
Lyrics by Andrew Hogarth.
On
the banks of the Missouri River a young man reflects on life.
Before him lies the bones of a greater man. His name was Sitting
Bull as he walked the Earth. A guiding spirit in the search of
true humanity. *His spirit and soul still roam the valleys of
his homelands. The north winds carry his words for all to hear.
Riches await the open hearted. Riches await the open hearted.
A wise and spiritual leader was the Hunkpapa holy man. Never once
did he lose his faith for his culture and way of life. A Napoleon
of the plains his banner drew the discontented. Sacrifice and
pain mattered little to this man. *His spirit and soul still roam
the valleys of his homelands. The north winds carry his words
for all to hear. Riches await the open hearted. Riches await the
open hearted. In later life the Ghost Dance would rekindle his
youthful rage. As his people suffered reservation life he would
not stand still. With the gasp of a dying breath the metal breasts
took his life. A great man is born not made from the cradle to
the grave. * His spirit and soul still roam the valleys of his
homelands. The north winds carry his words for all to hear. Riches
await the open hearted. Riches await the open hearted. * His spirit
and soul still roam the valleys of his homelands. The north winds
carry his words for all to hear. Riches await the open hearted.
Riches await the open hearted.
